BILOXI, Miss., Aug. 31, 1998 - Casino America, Inc. (Nasdaq:
CSNO) announced today at the following senior management team has
been selected for the Isle of Capri Casino - Black Hawk which is scheduled
to open in early 1999.
Robert S. (Bob) Fiore, Vice President and General Manager -- Bob comes to the Isle of Capri from the Argosy Corporation where he most recently served as General Manager of the Belle of Baton Rouge. He has also served as General Manager for casinos in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Laughlin, Nevada. Bob has thirty-two years of experience in the gaming/hospitality industry. John Bohannon, Senior Director of Marketing -- John comes from the Isle of Capri Casino, Crowne Plaza Resort in Biloxi, Mississippi where he has served as General Sales Manager since September 1993. Troy Keeping, Senior Director of Finance -- Troy has been Casino America's Director of Internal Audit since he joined the Company in September 1993. Rob Kelley, Senior Director of Operations -- Rob most recently served as Director of Slot Operations at Isle of Capri Casino - Lake Charles, Louisiana. Rob also served in that same position at the Isle of Capri Casino - Vicksburg, Mississippi. "We are pleased and excited about the senior management team we have assembled for Black Hawk. Bob and his staff have extensive gaming management experience to lead us in this new venue," said John M. Gallaway, President and Chief Operating Officer. Park Harness Racing Track in Pompano Beach, Florida and through a joint
venture, the Enchanted Capri cruise ship sailing from New Orleans, Louisiana.
