The Orlando World Center Marriott Hotel May Have More Internet Access Than Any Other US Hotel

ORLANDO, FL, -- August 10, 1998 -- e.port Public Information Network, the premier provider of public Internet access terminals, has reached an agreement to install six of its terminals in the Orlando World Center Marriott Hotel. This installation, with a contract value projected at $1.2 million,  continues the aggressive growth of the e.port Public Information Network in the Central Florida market.

According to John Bonaccorso, e.port's President, "This installation in the 1500 room Orlando
World Center will be the largest installation of public Internet access terminals and will provide more guest Internet access than any other hotel in the U.S.  And with six terminals in various locations in the hotel, the network lends itself to e.port's advanced capabilities such as guest messaging, conference scheduling information, and dissemination of other communications." The e.port terminals allow travelers the ability to easily retrieve and send e.mail and provide high-speed access to the Internet and World Wide Web without the use of a laptop computer.

"We are very excited about the enhanced service that we will be able to offer our guests through the e.port Public Information Network," said Brad McCreedy, Director of Marketing for the Orlando World Center Marriott. "Customer service is entering a technological age and e.port will allow us to use leading-edge technology to get all types of information to our guests."

In addition to hotels, e.port terminals can be found in airports and business centers as well. The first e.port terminals appeared in the Orlando marketplace in May of 1997, starting with the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort, and at the Orlando Peabody Hotel. Additionally, future Installations scheduled for the month of August will propel e.port Public Information Network to the status of the largest provider of public Internet access terminals on the East coast.
