Lodgenet Brings Hollywood to the Willard /
Video Services Upgraded and Expanded at Landmark DC Property

SIOUX FALLS, SD LodgeNet Entertainment Corporation today announced that it has finished installing a LodgeNet Interactive System at The Willard Inter-Continental Hotel, a historic, luxury, 341-room property in Washington, DC.  The installation follows the signing of a new video services contract under which LodgeNet will deliver on-demand movies, in-room Nintendo video games and other property-specific interactive services to the Washington property.

LodgeNet replaced another video services provider who had previously worked with Inter-Continental.  The LodgeNet installation went smoothly and the system became fully operational in April.

LodgeNet currently serves Inter-Continental properties in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, New Orleans and Montreal.  "We are extremely pleased to be expanding our relationship with the prestigious Inter-Continental Hotel Company," said Tim C. Flynn, president and CEO of LodgeNet. "For years weve proven our ability to serve the entire range of hotel segments - from high-end hotels such as The Willard to the limited service sector - with our scaleable b-LANSM systems.  We appreciate this opportunity to add to the number of Inter-Continental properties we serve, and we're confident they'll find the LodgeNet system will meet their in-room entertainment and information needs today and into the future."

The Willard, known as the residence of presidents, is one of Washingtons most popular hotel destinations.  Originally built in 1901, the current hotel structure has undergone a variety of upgrades and improvements, and was completely restored to its turn-of-the-century elegance in 1986.  Its enduring popularity can be credited to the hotel managements historic dedication to upgrades, refurbishments and restorations that have been critical in maintaining the superior quality of the Willards rooms, restaurants, and guest services.  The Willards new general manager,  Jean-Jacques Reibel, is continuing that history of improvements with upgrades such as the LodgeNet Interactive Services.

LodgeNet Entertainment Corporation (http://www.lodgenet.com) is a specialized communications company that serves more than 4,100 lodging properties in the United States and selected international markets. Through its proprietary b-LANSM technology, LodgeNet delivers guest pay services including on-demand movies, in-room video games and shopping, Internet access and other interactive applications, as well as digital-quality PRIMESTAR by LodgeNet free-to-guest programming.
