March 12, 1998--- The Quality Suites Hotel, Orange County Airport, located in Santa Ana, has received the Gold Hospitality Award from Choice Hotels International, parent company of the Quality Inns, Hotels, and Suites chain. The award is presented annually to hotels that exceed the rigid quality assurance standards of Choice Hotels International.

�This prestigious award recognizes exceptional service, facilities, and hospitality,� said Peter Jordan, Quality Vice-President and Brand Manager. Last year, just 6% of the Choice Hotels worldwide were presented with the Gold Hospitality Award.

The award will be formally presented to the employees at ceremonies scheduled for May 01, 1998. �It is really the employees who earned us this award,� said Donna Hebert, Quality Suites General Manager.

To qualify for the award, a hotel must undergo a series of rigorous inspections that evaluate each operating department. Departments are rated according to criteria including staff knowledge, attitude, and professionalism; training, safety, and security, maintenance and energy conservation; and physical conditions.

The Quality Suites Hotel, Orange County Airport, franchised by Choice Hotels International of Silver Spring, MD, is professionally managed by CapStar Hotel Company, based in Washington DC. The hotel features all two-room suites, with separate living-room and bedrooms areas. Each suite is equipped with 2 remote controlled cable televisions, VCR, voice mail, mini-refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, iron and full-length ironing board, and wet bar.
