 Ibertech, cybermeals Announce
Technology Partnership

HURST TX and SEATTlE, WA -  Feb 2, 1998 - The ability to order take-out and delivery meals from restaurants over the Internet has taken a giant leap forward through a strategic partnership announced today by Ibertech, Inc., developers of the award-winning Aloha suite of point-of-sale solutions, and cybermeals, the world's leading
online restaurant ordering service. Under the terms of the agreement, Ibertech will bundle cybermeals products and services with all Aloha TableService P0S systems shipped to new customers beginning in April of this year. In addition, all restaurants currently using Aloha TableService will have the option of adding cybermeals online ordering to their existing systems.

"More than anything, this partnership represents the next logical leap for restaurants and point-of-sale technology," said Allen Walker; Ibertech's chief operating officer. "As an increasing number of people use the Internet for commerce, whether it's to order groceries or rent a car; it seems like a natural segue to bring in the restaurant industry, too. By integrating cybermeals with Aloha TableService, we will make receiving online orders easier and more profitable for restaurant operators."

Tim Glass, co-founder, president and chief executive officer of cybermeals, said, "We chose to partner with Ibertech because of its forward-thinking philosophy and innovative presence in the hospitality industry. This partnership will allow take-out and delivery meal orders placed through cybermeals web site to go directly from the customer keyboard to the Aloha P0S system. It will bring the hospitality industry to a new level, setting higher standards of service and convenience for restaurant operators and diners alike."

cybermeals represents the next generation of restaurant ordering. With a network of more than 11,000 restaurants nationwide, cybermeals matches patrons with restaurants in their own neighborhoods and enables them to place online orders for take-out or delivery meals. With the integration between Ibertech's Aloha TableService P0S solution and cybermeals, the number of participating restaurants will expand instantly, offering more dining choices available to consumers.

cybermeals (www.cybermeals.com) gives computer users the ability to locate restaurants in their own neighborhoods, and order from full menus and specials as far as three months in advance. cybermeals integrates a comprehensive restaurant database with large-scale geopositioning software, Apple's WebObjects, MapQuest data and other proprietary technology to bring customers fast access to participating restaurants and restaurant delivery services in their own areas.

Since its December 1996 beta test in Boston, New York, San Francisco and Seattle, cybermeals service has become available nationwide, with more than 11,000 restaurants under contract and plans to expand internationally in 1998. cybermeals has been named the exclusive online ordering service for both America Online, Inc., the nation's largest Internet service provider, and Excite, a leading online service, and has been exclusively endorsed by the National Association of Pizza Operators and the Restaurant Delivery Services Association for online ordering for their respective members.
