TOP EUROPEAN HOTEL COMPANIES SELECT WOLRDRES FOR INTERNET BOOKING SYSTEM

SAN MATEO, CA, August 14, 1997 - WorldRes, Inc. TM  has doubled the number of European hotels represented on its system by signing agreements to provide Internet sales, marketing and reservation services to three of Europe's leading hotel companies: Movenpick Hotels & Resorts, Swallow Hotels, and Welcome Swiss.

The WorldRes scope of services includes free database marketing capabilities as well as a free bookable hotel listings on partner Web sites, including WorldRes' own Places To Stay ä site (www.placestostay.com).

The Swiss-based Movenpick Hotels and Resorts is a management company based in Zurich-Adliswil and has 35 hotels and resorts in 10 countries.

Swallow Hotels is one of the largest hotel groups in the UK and an owner of 35 three-, four- and five-star rated properties in England and Scotland, ranging from Bournemouth on the south coast to Inverness in the north of Scotland.

The Welcome Swiss consortium is the second largest hotel group in Switzerland. It consists of 50 hotels ranging from tourist to deluxe class in all parts of the country.
