WorldRes Signs on its 1,000th Hotel

SAN MATEO, CA, October 21 - WorldRes, Inc., developer and operator of the leading Internet-based hotel reservation system, today announced the signing of its 1,000th hotel, the Park Lane in Hong Kong, part of the SRS consortium. With the addition of SRS Hotels, WorldRes has expanded its geographic presence to more than 60 countries worldwide.

According to Eric Christensen, chief executive officer of WorldRes, Inc., "Our hotel base has grown by more than five times since the beginning of the year and we have agreements in place which will double that number of hotels by the end of the year. Increasingly, properties and hotel companies are seeing the advantage of outsourcing their Internet sales and marketing activities to a partner like WorldRes."
