The Peninsula Group Set to Open The Peninsula Bangkok in 1998

Scheduled to open in 1998, The Peninsula Bangkok is situated on the west bank of the scenic Chaophraya River in Thonburi, close to the Sathorn Bridge. Its ideal riverside location inspired its unique 39 storey W-shaped design, capitalising on the uninterrupted panoramic views, whilst adding a distinctive architectural statement to the Bangkok skyline.

At an average of 46 sq. m. net, guestrooms will be among the largest in Bangkok. All guestrooms and suites will face the river, and there will be just 10 guestrooms and two one-bedroom suites per floor.

Rating: 5-star deluxe Number of Guestrooms/Suites: 370 (including 61 one-bedroom suites, four grand deluxe suites; of which are one contemporary Thai suite and one duplex suite plus one Presidential suite).
