 Hotel Partners Arranges Sale of Detroit Airport Hotel
 
CHICAGO, IL (19 December 1997):  Bill Gudenau, chairman of Hotel Partners International, has confirmed the sale of the Shoney's Inn Detroit Airport.  The 179-room hotel was sold by Sholodge, Inc. to an individual investor, Shoney's Inn Logowho will retain the Shoney's Inn franchise.  Vice president Tom Ives of Hotel Partners' Atlanta office represented the seller in this transaction.  Ives originally brokered the sale of the hotel to Sholodge in 1994.

This full-service, highly-visible asset is located just north of Interstate 94 and Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Romulus, Michigan.  This market is witnessing significant development and investment due to excellent locational attributes and exceptional transportation infrastructure.
