HONOLULU (August 12, 1997) - Aston Hotels & Resorts has appointed Paul Tomonari as general manager of the Park Shore Hotel, a 227-room property located on Kalakaua Avenue across from Waikiki Beach.

A veteran of 25 years in the Hawaii hospitality industry, Tomonari has held positions with many of the major resort management companies in Hawaii, including Westin, Sheraton and Stouffer. Most recently, he was assistant general manager at the Ilikai Hotel, where he had also held the position of director of marketing during his 10-year tenure

Tomonari brings a strong background in sales and marketing, as well as operations, to the Park Shore team of dedicated staff who strive to create a home-away-from-home atmosphere for their guests. "In the current economic climate, it's important that staff go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome and I am extremely lucky to be joining such a pro-active team," he says.
