Human Trafficking Human trafficking is often facilitated using hotels as stopover points, while sexual exploitation sometimes happens in hotel rooms and hotel lounges. The “Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000” makes this activity a federal crime in the United States. Many organizations including hotels, airlines and others are stepping up to help combat this growing problem.
