NEW YORK – May 1, 2013 – The Roosevelt Hotel in Midtown Manhattan is excited to announce the appointment of Devon M. Casciaro to E-Commerce Manager. With past experience managing all social media strategy and web content for the Sheraton New York Times Square, Casciaro is qualified to take on the new role with responsibilities ranging from managing all Roosevelt Hotel social media accounts encompassing Twitter, Facebook and the hotel’s blog, TheNYKnow.com, to increasing user functionality on the hotel’s main website and strategic reputation management on consumer review sites.
Additionally, this role requires frequent content updates on each of the hotel’s food and beverage websites: mad46.com (rooftop bar), VanderBar.com (lunch hot spot) and MadisonClubLounge.com (lobby-level lounge).

Most recently, Casciaro held an important role at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel as the social media associate. In this position, Casciaro excelled in developing and implementing all social media strategy and content, while managing all social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and FourSquare. Moreover, Casciaro was solely responsible for the hotel’s consumer response tactics via guest review websites such as TripAdvisor, Travelocity, Yelp and other branded sites. For the last three years, Casciaro also served as an event manager for Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting in New York where she oversaw all event aspects ensuring flawless execution, while handling security and personal needs of VIP guests and attendees. Casciaro graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and currently resides in New York City.
