Benchmark Hospitality International Appoints José Castro as Director of Revenue
for Bonaventure Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida


The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, April 18, 2013
Benchmark Hospitality International®, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has appointed José Castro director of revenue for Bonaventure Resort & Spa.  Jim Mauer, general manager for the property, a Benchmark Resort® located in western Fort Lauderdale, Florida, made the announcement.

“It is with pleasure that I welcome José to the Bonaventure Resort & Spa,” said Mr. Mauer.  “He brings to his new position tremendous experience in maximizing hotel revenues during challenging economic times.  José is a great asset to our sales & marketing team.”

José Castro comes to his new role having previously served as director of revenue management for the Mayfair Hotel & Spa of Coconut Grove, Florida.  Before this he served in the same role at the Wyndham Airport & Executive Meeting Center located in Miami.

Mr. Castro is a graduate of Miami Dade College.  He resides in Weston, Florida.
