IHG Opens the 300-room Holiday Inn Bangkok Sukhumvit 22 in
Bangkok, Thailand - April 8, 2013 - IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), the world’s largest hotel group by number of rooms, opened Holiday Inn Bangkok Sukhumvit 22 on 29 March. This is the company’s third Holiday Inn hotel in the city and its tenth in Thailand.
The 29-storey tower overlooks Bangkok’s Benjasiri Park and boasts 300 stylish guest rooms and luxury suites nestled along the city’s famous Sukhumvit Road. One of the city’s most vibrant locations, it is close to the city’s largest shopping centres and main business district.
The hotel offers a full range of facilities and amenities to guests, including free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, a full-fledged business centre, outdoor lap pool and fitness centre. The hotel’s event centre features a variety of rooms for both business meetings and social events, including a Grand Ballroom, which can cater for up to 800 people.
Plenty of dining options are on offer, including 24-hour room service, from Thai to international favourites. Guests can choose from Zeta Cafe, the all-day dining restaurant ; Lounge 9, a cosy spot with tapas-style food menu and refreshments ; or grab an exotic Indian meal and drinks at Maya, the stylish rooftop restaurant bar set against the Bangkok skyline. Families with young children will also enjoy Holiday Inn’s signature Kids Stay and Eat Free* programme.
