Waterford Hotel Group Appoints Alan Miller as General Manager of the
120-room Courtyard by Marriott in Norwich, Connecticut

NORWICH, CT (April 26, 2013)
--- Waterford Hotel Group recently announced the appointment of Alan Miller to the position of General Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott in Norwich, CT. The 120-room hotel is managed by Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel and convention center management firm.

As General Manager, Miller will oversee all operational, sales and administrative aspects of the hotel. He joins the Courtyard Norwich team from his most recent roles as Assistant General Manager for the Comfort Inn Mystic and the Residence Inn by Marriott Mystic, where he oversaw both front of house and back of house operations. Miller’s prior hospitality experience also includes serving as Guest Services Manager for the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton and Assistant Front Office Manager at the Marriott Hartford Downtown.

Miller has an Associate’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Briarwood College in Southington, CT. He currently resides in Groton, CT.
