Tiffany Wu Appointed as Outside Sales Manager, International Sales for
both the Hilton Chicago and the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago

(Chicago, IL; March 21, 2013)
– In its commitment to Chicago’s growing Chinese tourism market, the Hilton Chicago and the Palmer House Hilton have enhanced their sales operation with the addition of a key position specifically designated to sell and service Hilton Hotels Huanying (welcome!) initiative.

Tiffany Wu, a Chinese American has been appointed to the position of Outside Sales Manager, International Sales for both the Hilton Chicago and the Palmer House Hilton. The announcement was made jointly by John Wells, General Manager of the Hilton Chicago and Dean Lane, General Manager, the Palmer House Hilton.

Wu has lived and traveled extensively throughout Asia including Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and Vietnam. In addition, Wu is fluent in Mandarin and has a strong understanding of the Italian and Spanish cultures from her time studying abroad.

“Hilton has always prided itself on the caliber of its Chicago cluster sales team. Having Wu on board will only add to the team’s highly regarded reputation of professionalism and excellence,” according to Lane.

“We value Tiffany as a decided asset to both our hotels’ goals in the burgeoning Chinese market. Her eminent qualifications make her an asset to Hilton Hotels worldwide as a whole,” Wells added.

A graduate of the University of Illinois, Wu also received certification from California State University as a meeting planner and her aforementioned studies in Italy.
