Rim Hospitality Selected to Manage the 489-room Marriott Oakland City Center
and the 162-room Courtyard by Marriott Oakland City Center in California

NEWPORT BEACH, CA - March 19, 2013 - Rim Hospitality today announced that it is now managing the 489 room Marriott Oakland City Center and the 162 room Courtyard by Marriott Oakland City Center.

"I am pleased to kick off the New Year by adding two high profile Marriott assets to our growing portfolio," said Mark Burden, President & CEO of Rim Hospitality.

Oakland Marriott City Center is newly renovated with bright colors and Jazz & Blues inspired touches to encompass a sophisticated and contemporary look. The 21 story hotel is located just minutes from San Francisco near Jack London Square and offers 5 concierge levels, with 89,000 square feet of meeting space.

The 162 room Courtyard Marriott Oakland Downtown is nestled between the Old Oakland Historic District and Chinatown, with access to Oakland's central business district, shops, and award-winning restaurants. Currently, the lobby is undergoing a refresh with new design features that boasts a more upscale and innovative feel.
