Along with the rebranding of the hotel to the Dakota Grand Hotel & Conference Center, the property is undergoing an extensive multi-million dollar renovation to include all guest rooms, public areas and the meeting and banquet facilities with work on the guest rooms already underway. Renovations will include a complete renovation of all interior areas. In the spring exterior renovations will also take place.

The hotel is conveniently located in Williston along Highway 2, the major highway through this region, and is in the heart of the Bakken Oil Formation. The Dakota Grand Hotel & Conference Center is located on Highway 2, the primary east/west artery through North Dakota’s northern tier of cities, drawing regional residents to Williston for shopping, dining and medical care. The hotel is across from Sloulin Field International Airport, serving both commercial and private aircraft.
