Travel Outlook Premium Reservations Call Center Contracts
with Surfsand Resort, Cannon Beach, Oregon

January 2, 2013 - Travel Outlook Premium Hotel Call Center has signed an agreement to provide reservations call services for Surfsand Resort in Cannon Beach, Oregon, next to the iconic Haystack Rock on the beautiful Oregon coast.

"It is our goal to provide the best service for our guests, many of whom visit us year after year," said Dave Norstedt, Vice-President of Operations for Martin Hospitality, which owns and manages Surfsand Resort.  "We felt that we could enhance our guest service by adding a professional central reservations company to answer those guest calls that we could not answer on property.  Also, we determined that having a voice reservations company standing by would allow our front desk team to spend more time with our guests while they are staying with us."

Mr. Norstedt continued, "After reviewing proposals from several vendors and contacting some of their existing client hotels, we decided that Travel Outlook was the right choice for Surfsand Resort".

Travel Outlook is unique in that its team connects directly to a hotel's property management system, providing real time access to a hotel's past guest information.  "In the case of Surfsand", says John Smallwood, Travel Outlook CEO, "this means that our team is able to look into the notes section of the PMS and see past guest history, allowing us to better understand the repeat Surfsand clientele.  Knowing their past guests and welcoming them back to the Surfsand properly is extremely important to Mr. Norstedt and his team, and we believe we are up to the challenge."

Travel Outlook employs a unique commission-only business model for most of its clients.  “Our reservation specialists are paid on actual conversion,” says Smallwood, "so we are only compensated when the call is converted and the guestroom is consumed. We do not charge for cancellations, changes, or other services, and our hotel partners benefit from experienced hotel industry professionals while avoiding the additional expenses associated with salaried or hourly employees.  In addition, our premium service is priced competitively."
