The 123-key Hotel Madeline Telluride in Colorado Completes
Renovations in Time for 2013 Ski Season

January 18, 2013 (Telluride, Colorado)
- Hotel Madeline Telluride in Telluride, Colorado, a ski-in ski-out, luxury boutique hotel located within walking distance of the gondola connecting Mountain Village to historic Telluride, is unveiling new renovations and additions just in time for the 2013 ski season.

Guests visiting Hotel Madeline Telluride this winter and beyond will be welcomed with:

An enticing arrival experience
  • A striking new entrance, with a pair of fire pits to warm arrivals in the winter, and five flagpoles.
  • A colorful new art collection, hand-selected by recently-appointed, resident art curator Sara Eyestone, adorns and brightens the hotel's public areas, and is for sale at the artists' studio prices. The exquisite collection appeals to art enthusiasts with paintings by Bruce Clovis Smith, Kathleen Frank, and Signe Bergman.
  • New retail outlets to spur spending in Mountain Village include a second outpost for local favorite, Telluride Truffles; Paladin, an upscale boutique for furniture and decorating accessories, all made in the U.S.A; a gourmet food and wine store; and the first Starbucks in the area.
Inviting year-round dining destinations
  • A new street entrance into Restaurant REV will spell convenience for locals and drop-in diners hungry for the creative, farm-to-table menu of Executive Chef Cory Sargent and Chef de Cuisine Bud Thomas.
  • Newly enhanced outdoor seating and a large fire pit for SMAK bar, as well as a special awning to keep guests and locals warm in winter, will set the tone for a year-round, open-air venue. The bar boasts a new 70-inch HDTV, three more large HDTVs and sound system for televising events such as the Academy Awards and Superbowl.
Even more upscale accommodations
The hotel will be adding 12 new queen guest rooms, with furniture, fixtures and electricity up to the standards of The Leading Hotels of the World©, to their inventory, while all suites and condos will receive new HDTV and stereo sound systems.
