Travel Outlook Premium Hotel Call Center Contracts with The Historic Plains Hotel,
Cheyenne, Wyoming for Improved Conversions and Superior Customer Service

February 5, 2013 - Travel Outlook Premium Hotel Call Center has signed an agreement to provide reservations call services for The Historic Plains Hotel in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

"For over one hundred years The Historic Plains Hotel has represented hospitality in the authentic Old West, and the friendliness and openness of our staff has continued that tradition",  says Gunter Orband, General Manager.  "As one of the most distinguished landmarks of the American West, the Plains Hotel has always been an important portal for those around the world who visit us to experience western and Native American culture, and we take this responsibility seriously.  Our hotel has always been a gathering place in downtown Cheyenne for tourists, locals, and important politicians and celebrities, and it was vital for us to find a central reservations team that would continue this theme of hospitality with our guests, many of whom visit us year after year."

Mr. Orband continued, "Travel Outlook already provides services for one of our sister historic properties in Colorado, and this gave us the opportunity to closely evaluate their operation.  After evaluating their ongoing performance there and making test calls to their agents, we decided that Travel Outlook was the right choice for us."

Travel Outlook is unique in that its team connects directly to a hotel's property management system, saving GDS and other pass-through fees that many call centers add to the cost of providing reservations services.  "This saves our clients money", says John Smallwood, Travel Outlook CEO, "and it also means that our team is able to see exactly what the hotel's operations team sees when we book into the PMS.  The goal is to book more reservations at a lower cost, and add-on GDS fees do not have to be part of that equation."

Travel Outlook employs a unique commission-only business model for most of its clients.  “Our reservation specialists are paid on actual conversion,” says Smallwood, "so we are only compensated when the call is converted and the guestroom is consumed. We do not charge for cancellations, changes, or other services, and our hotel partners benefit from experienced hotel industry professionals while avoiding the additional expenses associated with salaried or hourly employees.  In addition, our premium service is priced competitively."
