Prestige Hospitality Group Appoints Aaron O’Connor as Director of Food
 & Beverage and Christine M. Malay as Catering Sales Manager
for the
Clarion Hotel in Bristol, Connecticut

Completion of Current Renovations and Expansion of the Hotel is Slated for Q2 2013


BRISTOL, CT – February 14, 2013 – James C. Frenis, CHA, Chief Executive Officer of Prestige Hospitality Group, LLC (PHG) is pleased to announce the appointment of two industry veterans to the  senior staff of the Clarion Hotel located on Century Drive in Bristol, Connecticut.  Aaron O’Connor has been named Director of Food & Beverage and Christine M. Malay has been appointed as Catering Sales Manager for the hotel.

Mr. O’Connor will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations for the hotel, restaurant, lounge, banquet and catering functions.  The hotel is currently undergoing a complete renovation including meeting rooms, a ballroom and a full-service restaurant and lounge. Later this year, the hotel will be rebranded as a DoubleTree by Hilton.  Mr. O’Connor has over fifteen years of experience in the hospitality industry, including management assignments at resorts in Vail, Colorado.

As Catering Sales Manager, Mrs. Malay will be responsible for event planning and catering sales for the hotel.  Mrs. Malay has over 12 years of experience in event planning, most recently as general manager of Grassy Hill Country Club in Orange.  She is a resident of Bristol, Connecticut.

“We are pleased to welcome Aaron and Christine to our senior management team,” said Mr. Frenis in his announcement.  “The depth of their experience will be invaluable as we transition to a DoubleTree Hotel.”

The hotel renovation and expansion is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2013.  Construction activities are being phased to minimize disruptions during renovation activities as the hotel remains open to guests during the expansion.

PHG provides management services for the Bristol hotel, overseeing hotel sales and operations, as well as facilities management.
