Originally built as an apartment house, The Burnsley was converted to a hotel in the 1960’s and known for its popular jazz club. Prior to Joy and Franklin Burns purchasing the hotel, it was said to be owned by an investor group that included Ella Fitzgerald and Kirk Douglas.
 
NCL/National Content Liquidators, the leading expert in hotel liquidation management, has been contracted to clear the hotel of its contents as a prelude to the property’s redevelopment.
 
The 80 room hotel contents liquidation is being held on-site at The Burnsley All Suite Hotel, located at 1000 Grant Street, Denver, CO., and is open to both the hospitality industry and the general public. The sale begins at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 14th, and will continue for the next 3 weeks or until sold out, Monday-Saturday, 10:00 am-7:00 pm and Sundays, 12:00-5:00 pm.
 
Items of interest for sale will be the complete contents of the hotel’s 80 suites including LG flat panel TV’s, king & queen  bed sets, sofas, writing desk & desk chairs, dining tables & chairs, end tables, coffee tables, lamps, mirrors, artwork, full kitchens w/ HotPoint appliances, as well as commercial kitchen equipment, bar & restaurant furnishings, lobby furnishings, laundry equipment, banquet furnishings, office furnishings & 100’s more.
