Elite Island Resorts Names Two General Managers
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – February 6, 2013 – Elite Island Resorts, which provides sales and marketing representation for an impressive collection of beachfront resorts in the Caribbean’s most sought-after destinations, including Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia, Tortola and the Grenadines, is proud to announce the appointment of several hospitality professionals at Long Bay Beach Resort & Villas in Tortola, St. James’s Club Morgan Bay, Saint Lucia and the company’s sales and marketing office in Florida.

Hugh Robertson joins Long Bay Beach Resort & Villas as general manager. Robertson will lead the resort team, bringing more than 20 years of experience in senior management including positions in sales, catering and hospitality. Also new to Elite Island Resorts is Michelle Forszt who joins the Elite Island Resorts team in Deerfield Beach, Florida, as director of sales for Long Bay. As a seasoned industry veteran of more than 20 years, Forszt brings with her an in-depth knowledge of the Caribbean, having previous experience working both in the Aruba and Barbados.
St. James’s Club Morgan Bay, Saint Lucia recently appointed industry veteran Mark Grebby as the resort’s general manager. Grebby brings with him more than 25 years of industry experience. He most recently served as the general manager at LaSource in Grenada. St. James’s Club Morgan Bay also recently hired Janice Victorin as activities director. Victorin is also a veteran of LaSource and is actively designing and implementing a wide array of new activity, exercise and wellness programs for all hotels within the Elite Island Resorts group.
