News for the Hospitality Executive |

STEVENSON, Wash. (October
31, 2012) — Earlier this month, Skamania Lodge added Susan
Renner to its Group
Sales Team as National Sales Manager. Renner brings nearly
two
decades of experience in hospitality sales to her new role with the
Columbia River
Gorge resort. She will be responsible for overseeing the
national,
regional and state association markets. “Susan has a fabulous reputation in the Northwest meetings market,” said Skamania Lodge General Manager Scott Spann. “We are excited to have her on our team and to tap her experience and expertise to showcase Skamania’s fantastic conference offerings.” In addition to working with businesses and event planners to help them better plan and facilitate conferences, incentive trips and off-site meetings and events, Renner will interact closely with Skamania’s sales team to cultivate relationships within the corporate arena. The team works from the Lodge’s Portland, Ore., sales office in order to better serve local and regional organizations. Prior to joining Skamania Lodge, Renner served as senior sales manager for Hilton Portland & Executive Tower in downtown Portland, Ore., bringing with her a deep knowledge of the Portland marketplace and a strong understanding of the ever-changing meetings environment. Skamania Lodge’s Conference Center offers 23 meeting rooms and more than 22,000 square feet of dedicated state-of-the-art meeting, exhibition and banquet space. Meeting rooms range in size from 250 square feet for intimate gatherings to 7,000 square feet, accommodating food and beverage functions for up to 500 people.
