With optimal experience in the hospitality sector, Jernstrom is committed to exemplifying Marriott core values and contributing to the hotel's overall success.
Exceptional service and commitment to guest satisfaction are long-standing cornerstones of the Marriott brand. Jernstrom understands the significance of these ideals. His most recent role was an asset manager at Bethesda Marriott. His efforts resulted in substantial improvement in profits and overall operational performance. He spent significant time with Wardman Park Marriott in Washington, D.C. as director of corporate group sales and director of catering and convention services and served as director of sales at Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. In addition, Jernstrom acquired vast experience in hospitality consulting with a focus on improving sales effectiveness and results.
Jernstrom holds a B.S. in hotel management from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, MA, as well as an Associate's Degree from the College of Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales College in Providence, RI.
Since his arrival at the New Orleans hotel in July, Jernstrom has been working hard to create a guest-centered, results-driven atmosphere.
