THG's Lara Latture Promoted to Chief Operating Officer

Principal recognized for job well done in overseeing
The Hotel Group portfolio for nearly a decade


Nashville — October 3, 2012 — In recognition of exceptional service to The Hotel Group (THG), President and CEO Douglas Dreher is pleased to announce the appointment of Lara Latture from executive vice president to chief operating officer. Latture has been spearheading hotel operations, marketing and HR functions, as well as leading the management of new hotel acquisitions via brand coordination, market analysis, and financial growth and stability for THG’s expanding portfolio.

The Hotel Group is a nationally recognized Top 40 hotel company with expertise in owning and/or managing hotels in more than 20 states. Latture was honored at the company's annual General Manager's Conference, held at the Hilton Suites Brentwood, a THG owned and operated hotel in Tennessee.

"Lara has been an integral member of the THG executive team for many years, and we attribute the company's growth and success in part to her leadership, energy and operational acumen," Dreher said. "It is with great pleasure that I promote Lara to the position of COO. Since joining our company in 1998, Lara has worked tirelessly to ensure that THG remain a leader in hotel operations and management. Supervising over 1,600 property-level associates via her operations team in Franklin, Tenn., she nurtures the people-centric culture at THG. Lara's dynamic management style radiates hospitality, and she is the epitome of a business partner, hotel professional and friend."

Latture began her career with THG as Director of Sales at the Holiday Inn on the Beach in Galveston, Texas. In 2006, she became a company principal. Latture is an active member of the Hilton Doubletree Owners Council and serves on the IAHI (Owners' Association of IHG) Crowne Plaza committee.

In 2012, Latture was named one of Nashville, Tennessee's "Most Influential Women" by the Nashville Business Journal. She is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) from the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Assn., and attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she studied Business Administration.
