Francisco, C.A. (October 11, 2012) — Laura Jung has been
appointed
Director of Group Sales of the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, it was
announced today by Frank Manchen, Director of Sales and
Marketing.
Ms. Jung, who will be responsible for the Midwest and Canadian markets, joins the hotel from the Hilton Union Square where she spent the past 16 years and was most recently the Director of Group Sales. She is a San Francisco native and a graduate of San Jose State University. Ms. Jung began her career in hospitality at the Hilton San Francisco Airport. "Laura is a perfect addition to our team as she is well respected in the industry and has an extensive client base," notes Mr. Manchen. "She is looking forward to introducing meeting and incentive planners in her sales region to our property which is in the final phases of a $90 million rejuvenation." The San Francisco Marriott Marquis is a 39-story, 1,499 room property just steps from Market Street, the Moscone Convention Center, Yerba Buena Gardens, and Union Square.
