Digital Alchemy Assembles Advisory Board to Guide Future Development
of CRM and e-Marketing Solutions

Consortium of hospitality industry operation and revenue professionals will oversee
 advancements in guest communication offerings

Fort Worth, TX — Oct. 8, 2012 — Digital Alchemy is proud to announce the formation of an advisory board comprised of industry leaders, authorities in hotel operations and revenue management, and hands-on innovators to help guide the next generation of their industry-leading solutions.  Since Digital Alchemy launched the first true customer relationship management (CRM) solution for the hospitality industry over a decade ago, the company has remained at the developmental forefront of e-marketing solutions for the global hotel market. The new board will help ensure that all future CRM and e-marketing solutions continue to meet the standard of excellence that Digital Alchemy customers have come to expect.

Key members of the advisory board include Scott Dawson, Area General Manager at Dupont Circle Hotel; Jeff Castner, General Manager at Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa; Matthew Davis, Director of Rooms at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa; Terri Hall, Web Manager at Kiawah Island Golf Resort; Beth Lytle, Director of Revenue at Le Pavillon Hotel; and Ursula Coie, Director of Revenue and Reservations at The Riviera Palm Springs Resort & Spa. Digital Alchemy’s advisory board will confer regularly to determine the best protocol for communicating with guests prior, during and after their hotel stays to increase both guest service and revenue generation opportunities.

“All of our advisory board members were selected for their comprehensive experience and contributions to running profitable hotels,” said Don Hay, Digital Alchemy’s Chief Executive Officer. “Like Digital Alchemy, they hold themselves to high standards and share the same interest in bringing only the best technologies and services to the table.”

Hundreds of properties in 54 countries already use Digital Alchemy’s CRM and e-marketing solutions to build and manage relationships with both current and future guests. The company’s comprehensive suite of online tools is helping some of the world’s most prestigious independent hotels, resorts and chains track relevant information, collect guest feedback, enhance customer communication, and ultimately increase revenues.

“As guests continue to become increasingly mobile and demand communications on their own terms, hotels without digital marketing tools can fall behind in satisfaction levels or lose potential upselling opportunities,” remarked Matthew Davis, Director of Rooms for the Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa. “We all believe there is a strong need for cutting-edge technology in this space, and for that reason, are excited to collaborate as an advisory board and share our knowledge to help maximize future CRM and e-marketing solutions.”

The advisory board will guide the development of future technologies, such as MXPRESS, the latest addition to Digital Alchemy’s extensive product portfolio. MXPRESS is a mobile conference guide accessible through QR code scanning or a unique URL link. This innovative mobile tool was built to provide conference attendees with exhibit maps, schedules, vendor lists, shuttle information and more, all while collecting feedback for the show’s host through a built-in mSurvey feature.
