Travel Outlook Premium Hotel Call Center Contracts with
Scottsdale Camelback Resort, Scottsdale, Arizona
for Improved Conversions and Superior Customer Service

November 26, 2012 - Travel Outlook Premium Hotel Call Center has signed an agreement to provide reservations call services for Scottsdale Camelback Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.

"Scottsdale Camelback is a resort with a number of amenities and lots of things to do, and we wanted to find the right way to tell our guests who were calling about what we have to offer", says Julie Witt, Director of Marketing and Revenue.  "We found that our staff could not take the time to do this as well as we would like, since they were helping guests who were in house.  We decided to hire a professional firm to answer all of our inbound reservations calls, and it has worked out very well for us.  Our front desk team is now able to spend more time with our guests while they are staying with us, and the reservations team can sell to those who are calling for reservations."

Ms. Witt continued, "Travel Outlook already has clients in Arizona and it has agents who live here as well, so we looked closely at their operation.  After making some test calls to see how their agents would perform, we decided that Travel Outlook was the right choice for us."

Travel Outlook is unique in that its team connects directly to a hotel's property management system, saving GDS and other pass-through fees that many call centers add to the cost of providing reservations services.

John Smallwood, Travel Outlook CEO

"This saves  our clients money", says John Smallwood, Travel Outlook CEO, "and it also means that our team is able to see exactly what the hotel's operations team does when we book into the PMS.  The goal is to book more reservations at a lower cost, and add-on GDS fees do not have to be part of that equation."

Travel Outlook employs a unique commission-only business model for most of its clients.  “Our reservation specialists are paid on actual conversion,” says Smallwood, "so we are only compensated when the call is converted and the guestroom is consumed. We do not charge for cancellations, changes, or other services, and our hotel partners benefit from experienced hotel industry professionals while avoiding the additional expenses associated with salaried or hourly employees.  In addition, our premium service is priced competitively."
