The Emory Conference Center Hotel is also pleased to welcome its new neighbor, Emory Point. The mixed-use community adjacent to the Emory Conference Center Hotel includes a variety of shops and dining venues in walking distance to the hotel. "Emory Conference Center Hotel has been the premiere facility for conferences and visitors to Emory University, the CDC and the Atlanta metro area since 1995," said Kathryn Johnson, General Manager. "The latest renovation is yet another example of our continued efforts to serve the community with excellence. This renovation complements our LEED Certified expansion that was completed in 2010," added Johnson. Emory Conference Center Hotel is nestled in the Emory Forest on the Campus of Emory University and adjacent to the Centers for Disease Control, yet only minutes from Atlanta's major attractions and businesses. The hotel sits on 26 acres of forest preserve and practices sustainability in all facets of its operation. It employs a single-stream recycling unit, which centralizes all recycling and waste oils from the kitchens. The waste oils are converted in bio-diesel and then used as fuel for transportation at Emory University. The Emory Conference Center Hotel is a full-service upscale property with 325 guestrooms and 32,000 square feet of conference space. It is inspired by the architectural design of Frank Lloyd Wright. In addition to its LEED Certification, it is the only Conference Center in Georgia certified by Green Seal, Inc; and is a member of the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC). The facility is owned by Emory University and managed by Crestline Hotels & Resorts. The hotel is located at 1615 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA, 30329.
