Gansevoort Hotel Group Appoints Adam Shindler as
Vice President, Acquisitions and Development

New York, New York (November 13, 2012) – Gansevoort Hotel Group announces the appointment of Adam Shindler as Vice President, Acquisitions and Development of Gansevoort Hotel Group. Shindler joins the lavish hotel group at an exciting time as they embark on their future plans for expansion. He will report to Irina Zavina, Senior Vice President, Global Strategy and Development.

In his new role, Shindler will be responsible for the brand’s international expansion efforts,which will includemajor urban and resort markets throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.He will add significant value to each stage of the newproject life cycle and will contribute to the development of each project’s vision, as well as helpdrive long-term investment returns to ownership groups, development partners, and investors.

“I am enthusiastic about joining the Gansevoort family and I look forward to further enhancing the brand’sglobal footprint in the luxury lifestyle hotel space,” said Shindler. “I believe my extensive hospitality development experience will be instrumental in helping to grow the Gansevoort brand.”

Shindler received his Master of Business Administration through the Global Executive MBA program (GEMBA), which is offered between Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and the Walsh School of Foreign Service- and ESADE Business School of Barcelona. A graduate of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, Adam received a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration, with a concentration in real estate finance.
