December 14, 2012 - As Pinnacle Advisory Group embarks on its third decade of operations, big changes are afoot. From its Boston roots, Pinnacle has opened offices in Los Angeles, South Florida/Caribbean and New York, offering a greatly expanded portfolio of services to an ever-more-sophisticated client audience. In addition to company growth, the Principals and employees of Pinnacle have been expanding their horizons assuming critical roles in industry advisory councils and committees as well as in the world of higher education.

In that light, we are very proud to announce that Greg Bohan, Managing Director of Pinnacle’s South Florida/Caribbean practice, has accepted an offer to join the faculty at the Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Florida International University. Greg has been teaching in an Adjunct capacity at FIU since shortly after opening the Pinnacle Florida office in 2003 – teaching a Graduate level course in Hotel Feasibility Analysis. He is excited and passionate about having an opportunity to more closely instruct and mentor students just beginning their hospitality career. Greg will continue to be a Director with Pinnacle in an advisory capacity.

Allison Fogarty, a Senior Director of the Florida practice office since opening, will assume the leadership role – managing client services and spearheading practice development, ensuring that operations of Pinnacle’s South Florida/Caribbean practice will continue uninterrupted. Allison’s depth of knowledge and background experience in the South Florida/Caribbean hospitality arena is virtually unparalleled. After beginning her hospitality consulting career in the New York office of PKF, Allison accepted a senior position with a major international luxury cruise line and hotel company. She spearheaded the group’s strategic planning and development efforts in the United States, European and Caribbean hotel and resort markets. She subsequently assumed a senior management position in the Miami practice of Ernst & Young’s real estate group, directing hospitality consulting activities in Florida and the Caribbean. Allison’s diverse experience includes resort residential development, cruise industry due diligence, and operational review, in addition to hotel and resort acquisition and development counseling.
