Peppers Beach Club in Port Douglas, North Queensland, Australia Welcomes New
General Manager, Jeremy Nordkamp, and New Executive Chef, Ralph Campbell

December 7, 2012 - Two new faces have permanently checked into Peppers Beach Club in Tropical North Queensland's picturesque Port Douglas with the stylish resort rolling out the welcome mat to a newly appointed General Manager, Jeremy Nordkamp, and new Executive Chef, Ralph Campbell.

Jeremy has worked in leisure and corporate properties and built up his expertise in all facets of hotel management including front of house, rooms division, food and beverage and revenue management.

Having headed to Port Douglas from Brisbane where he was Executive Assistant Manager at Mantra South Bank, Jeremy's previous appointments have included Fraser Island's Kingfisher Bay Resort, Dunk Island Resort, Hilton International in Brisbane and out to central Australia at the Sails In The Desert resort at Uluru.

"Peppers is a growing brand in the Asia Pacific and Peppers Beach Club has always been a popular choice with domestic and international guests," Jeremy said of his new GM role at Peppers Beach Club.

"I am really looking forward to continuing to lift the profile of the property and the region as a quality leisure and conferencing destination offering a fantastic gourmet experience."

New Executive Chef, Ralph Campbell is revelling the in the region's variety of tropical fruits, seafood and fresh produce, inspiring him to introduce a tapas style menu perfect for poolside dining at the resort's restaurant Sublime Bar & Grill.

"'Fresh is best' is truly the motto in this region and the diverse array of produce on offer means I can create some simple but tasty dishes for casual poolside dining or really take it to a level of sophisticated dining for special occasions or events."

Dishes boasting plenty of amazing seafood and fresh produce with an Asian infusion, will no doubt serve to enhance the experience of staying at Peppers Beach Club, which combines beautifully appointed accommodation and top-class facilities such as a lagoon style pool with a sandy beach, with easy access to the magical Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest.

Foodie fans can sample the best of both worlds when it comes to food and resort luxury, by staying at Peppers Beach Club with a specially tailored package that will immerse you in a world of tropical flavours and local expertise.
