September 10, 2012 - The Sunbeam® Hospitality Team has just announced the latest breakthrough in ultimate guest satisfaction: the Sunbeam® Elite CR1003 Clock Radio, a "talking" product that is packed with more features than any other hospitality clock radio on the market today. Innovative, easy to use and designed specifically for hotels, the CR1003 was designed from the ground up, to delight guests and hoteliers too. "We tested this
product
extensively throughout development, because what is intuitive for one
person
isn't necessarily the same for another," says Jennifer Hansard, group

wanted this product to have all the features guests demand, but most

it had to be easy to use." The CR1003 combines the most exciting

all in one alarm clock — Voice, Nap Timer, USB Charger, Radio Seek, iPod® Dock

alarm-setting
system, incorporating an audible voice that instructs and confirms the
guest's
alarm settings. Travelers today
carry a variety of
mobile and digital devices, so the Sunbeam Elite® Clock
Radio
contains a built-in USB charger, giving guests the convenience of
powering a
compatible mobile phone, MP3 player, camera or other digital device
right on
the nightstand. Radio Seek allows travelers to find stations fast, and
the Nap
Timer makes recharging after long flights a breeze. The Daily Alarm
Reset
ensures guests won't wake up to a previous guest's alarm. The compact
design of the CR1003
fits easily on a nightstand, yet it still holds two powerful 5-watt
speakers.
Guests can take full advantage of the sound quality by plugging their
own iPod® or
iPhone® into the adjustable iPod® dock
atop the
unit (bonus: it charges even while it's playing). Users with other
types of MP3
players can take advantage of the Auxiliary Audio Jack located in the
rear of
the CR1003, or simply enjoy the area's local AM and FM radio stations. Perhaps the most
compelling
features of the Sunbeam® Elite Clock Radio are the
ones a guest
would enjoy while sleeping. A one-button White Noise feature is
available to
help guests fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. Guests who are
light-sensitive will appreciate the three levels of display brightness,
adjustable at the touch of a button on the convenient dashboard, while
"snoozers" will fall in love with the oversized, lighted Snooze
button – easy to find when groggy and sensitive to a gentle tap. The CR1003 alarm
sound is
programmed to slowly increase in volume so guests will gradually wake

– either
a standard buzzer, the radio, two alarm tones, or their own music from
an iPod® or
