DALLAS (September 26, 2012) – Pegasus Solutions has named Julie Parodi as vice president of sales operations. In the newly created role, Parodi will serve a multi-faced management role, optimizing performance among Pegasus’ global sales, client services, demand sales and support teams. Parodi, who also edits The Pegasus View, will serve many important functions to allow fast and agile execution by sales and client services teams worldwide. She will continue producing Pegasus’ free quarterly data report, as well as the PegasusView Market Performance, a new monthly business intelligence reporting product. “Julie took the billions of transactions Pegasus processes on a monthly basis to the next level, turning them into something usable for hotels, media and analysts worldwide as editor of The Pegasus View,” said David Millili, chief executive officer of Pegasus Solutions. “This new role will allow her to take her industry knowledge and talents for managing, achieving results, and collaborating to ensure our teams are working efficiently and effectively, which will help us deliver the most benefit to our hotel clients.” Parodi brings more than 14 years in hospitality analysis and a background in finance to her role. Previously, she served as senior director, strategic planning and analysis for Pegasus, providing leadership for business planning processes to strengthen business strategies and address key process improvement opportunities. Prior to joining Pegasus, she served as manager, performance measurement of strategic services at Best Western International.
