'Haute’ technology - Sofitel Sydney Wentworth says ‘Bonjour' to HotSOS

Sydney, Friday 28, September 2012 – Sofitel Sydney Wentworth hotel has made a high tech investment to enhance its distinctive French influenced hospitality, contracting McLaren Technologies to install the industry leading Hotel Service Optimization System, HotSOS, from global solutions provider, MTech.

A flagship property within the worldwide Sofitel Luxury Hotels portfolio, the Sofitel Wentworth Sydney is renowned for its contemporary elegance and iconic heritage-listed architecture. Sofitel Sydney Wentworth’s General Manager, Ian Alexandre, said he selected McLaren Technologies to help find a solution for his front and back-of-house teams to communicate more efficiently and effectively, with guest satisfaction the top priority.

“As a modern hotelier I recognise that the future of extending impeccable and ‘time-honoured’ service is no longer in the hands of a front desk manager or concierge alone.

“To provide cutting-edge service, a hotel must invest in an equally outstanding and reliable technology infrastructure to support the intricate hotel microcosm. Accurate and timely information sharing between departments and staff is where HotSOS will really prove its value time and time again.”

HotSOS is the industry’s most advanced guest tracking solution. An automated preventive maintenance and task management system, HotSOS improves service order and guest request resolution, ensuring optimal service in line with Sofitel Sydney Wentworth’s luxury hospitality standards.

McLaren Technologies Managing Director, Matthew White, said, “HotSOS is ideal for hotels like Sofitel Sydney Wentworth looking to automate, streamline and update their internal task management network.”

“The team at Sofitel are focused on delivering a superior guest experience and understand that modern technology has an important place in the process. Support from a fresh and user-friendly guest tracking solution like HotSOS is priceless when taken in context of guest feedback and preventative maintenance.”
