Melbourne, Australia September 7, 2012 – Concept Amenities, a global leader in the supply of environmentally responsible guest bath amenities, is pleased to announce the promotion of Kerry Dowen as the company’s new Vice President of Sales for North and South America.
During her 11-year tenure with Concept Amenities, Ms. Dowen has carved out an impressive career serving, in Australia, as South East Queensland Sales Manager from 2001-2007 and Queensland State & Northern Territory Sales Manager from 2007-2012, and has been ranked as Concept Amenities’ number one Australian sales performer in multiple years.
Focusing on sales and services to 2-5 star accounts, Dowen has grown distributors from three in 2001 to 25 in Fiscal Year 2013 and end user hotel clients to 250 in Fiscal Year 2013. In addition to these accomplishments, Ms. Dowen was one of 12 Women in Tourism Committee members and served as Secretary of the South East Queensland Professional Housekeepers Association.
In her new role as Vice President of Sales, Dowen will relocate to the Concept Amenities Inc. Las Vegas Head Office in late 2012. “This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for me,” she acknowledges, “and one that I am greatly looking forward to. I have always wanted to work in the United States and hope to play a major role in the continuing growth and corporate evolution of Concept Amenities in North and South America.”
