DEARBORN,
Mich. (Sept. 25, 2012) – Carlson Rezidor Hotel
Group, one of the world’s largest and most dynamic hotel groups, today
announced the signing of a long-term management agreement for the
Radisson
Hotel & Conference Center Dearborn, Mich., a 772-room hotel
centrally
located between downtown Detroit and the airport in the suburb of
Dearborn. The
former Hyatt Regency will immediately begin a multimillion-dollar
renovation
when the current management contract expires on Oct. 31, 2012.
Working towards that date and once all
critical milestones are achieved, the hotel will complete the full
branding to
a Radisson hotel.

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group hopes to retain existing hotel employees. The Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Dearborn features 62,000 square feet of meeting facilities highlighted by a rooftop ballroom with 360 degree views. Highlights of the hotel also include a day spa, an indoor pool, a whirlpool and a fitness center. The hotel’s restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. A coffee bar and lobby bar provide additional dining options as well.
