On 8/29/12, a representative from E.F. Bishop Agency
stated that Katherine Bishop is the best point of contact for this
project at
this time. The representative stated that the best way to contact the
developer
was through their mailing address.

23, 2012
On 8/23/12, a representative from the city of Providence
(RI) confirmed the city has decided to embark on their own planning
process
with the redevelopment of the College Hill neighborhood. A zoning
change for
the hotel will not be approved or denied until the city has finalized
their own
plans. William Kite Architects is the architect for this project.
December
27, 2011
On 12/27/11, a representative of E.F. Bishop Agency
confirmed that they have yet to submit plans to the Providence (RI)
planning
commission. E.F. Bishop Agency has partnered with another hotel
developer that
has reportedly built three "W Hotels". The company's name has not yet
been released.
October
13, 2011
Pinnacle Advisory Group is conducting a market study that
will be completed at the end of October 2011. The study's findings will
help
the developers line up investors for the project.
November
2, 2009
As of 11/3/09, the developer, Ed Bishop, needs
Providence City Planning Commission approval of an application to
rezone
property for commercial uses. The project will appear before the
planning
commission within the next few months.
