Florida's Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau
Hires Neal Carter as Corporate Sales Manager

Miami (July 20, 2012) - The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) has hired Neal Carter for the position of Corporate Sales Manager, announced GMCVB president and CEO William D. Talbert, III, CDME.

“We are delighted to welcome Neal to our meetings and convention sales team,” says Talbert. “He is a dedicated industry professional who brings great enthusiasm and energy to his position at the bureau.  Neal’s industry knowledge along with his outstanding experience allows him to hit the ground running to book meetings in Miami.”

As  a Corporate Sales Manager, Carter will be handling sales from the West Coast and other markets to be assigned in the months ahead.

Carter previously worked at the Hilton McLean Tyson’s Corner in the Washington, DC area.  Prior to that he was a Sales Manager with Modus Hotels in DC.    He is a graduate of Barry University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and was named a two-time college soccer All-American.  He is also the founder of the City of Sunny Isles Soccer Club.  His professional associations include being a member of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals.
