Matt Traub Hired as the Director of Sales and Marketing
DALLAS (July 6, 2012) – Matt Traub has been tapped as the new Director of Sales and Marketing for W Dallas - Victory hotel. The position marks a return to Texas for Traub, who spent five years in food and beverage and sales management at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Irving.
Traub transferred from Irving to the Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole as Director of Sales. Most recently, he oversaw sales for the downtown Chicago Four Seasons and the Ritz Carlton, a Four Seasons hotel. Traub began his hospitality career with positions at Club Med and Norwegian Cruise Lines. He earned two bachelors degrees from the University of Texas at Austin (psychology and Spanish), and studied Spanish at the Spanish American Institute in Seville, Spain.
“Matt has received a great deal of recognition and many awards for exceeding sales goals, and he is a great fit for the W Hotel’s philosophy of delivering ‘whatever/whenever’ for our guests,” said Thomas Caramucci, general manager of W Dallas-Victory Hotel. “His knowledge of the North Texas market and the luxury segment make him the ideal person to present everything that W Dallas – Victory has to offer.”
