Matrix Hospitality Group Partners with Jax Airport Hotel, LLC for the Purchase
and Management of the Clarion Jacksonville Airport Hotel in Florida


Jacksonville FL, July 21, 2012--  Matrix Hospitality Group, a New Orleans based hotel management company, today announced that it has partnered with the parent company of Jax Airport Hotel, LLC for the purchase and management of the 200 room Clarion Jacksonville Airport & Conference Center. The transition of ownership, effective July 20, is expected to be seamless, with no interruption of services to guests.

“We have secured the Doubletree brand and expect renovations to take six months.  Our targeted conversion date is mid-January 2013.” said Thomas Mack, President and CEO of Matrix. “As the first of many planned acquisitions by this team, our expectations are to identify and purchase full service properties that will benefit from renovation, re-branding and focused management. While our initial growth will come from internal funding, we are actively developing a hospitality fund as well as seeking joint venture opportunities that meet our criteria.”
