Sage Hospitality Chosen to Manage the 403-room Embassy Suites
Denver - Downtown/Convention Center in Colorado

Denver, Colo. (July 17, 2012) – Denver-based Sage Hospitality, an established leader in hotel management, development and ownership, has announced that it now manages the Embassy Suites Denver - Downtown/Convention Center .  The 403-room convention center hotel will join Sage’s Full Service Division as the largest and first urban property in the portfolio of 10 full service hotels across the United States.

“We are excited to add the Embassy Suites brand to the Sage portfolio,” said Jim Darter, Senior Vice President of the Full Service Division.  “This hotel is already one of the top performers in the downtown area and is currently ranked No. 1 in Denver by their guests on TripAdvisor.  We look forward to using all of Sage’s market strength to attain breakthrough performance in the coming years.”

This addition to the hotel management company continues an aggressive growth strategy as Sage Hospitality continues to look for new management and acquisition opportunities across the U.S.  Recently, Sage acquired contracts with 12 properties in Ohio for their Select Service division, and the Premier & Lifestyle division continues to look for new acquisitions while managing other Denver hotel leaders such as the Curtis – a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and the Oxford Hotel.

The Embassy Suites Denver – Downtown/Convention Center is a LEED Silver-certified all-suite hotel.  The lobby features a 14-story sky curtain and aspen tree accents along the walls.  As a part of Hilton’s Embassy Suites brand, the hotel offers complimentary breakfast for guests each morning as well as a hosted Manager’s Reception every evening.   The hotel’s 22,500 sq. ft. of spectacular meeting space offers 14 venues that can be transformed to meet any event up to 650 people.  Offering state of the art technology and catering services, the Embassy Suites is equipped to handle small business meetings, large events and weddings.  “The meeting and events space at this Embassy Suites is truly remarkable,” continued Darter.  “The beautiful design and functionality of the meeting and event space, combined with the outstanding food and beverage offerings rival the top hotels in downtown Denver.”

The hotel is across the street from the Colorado Convention Center and walking distance to Denver’s most popular attractions including the 16th Street Mall, Larimer Square, Denver Center for Performing Arts and the Pepsi Center.  The central downtown location also makes the hotel ideal for business travelers, including access to Denver’s Light Rail system for meetings outside of the city.
