SINGAPORE, July 6, 2012 – Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Piatti, as General Manager of Swissôtel Nai Lert Park, Bangkok with immediate effect. He first joined Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts in 1994 and brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to the 338-room hotel. This appointment marks a return for Eric Piatti, who was once Executive Assistant Manager at Swissôtel Nai Lert Park. He first embarked on his career with the group at Swissôtel Le Plaza, Basel, Switzerland and has since progressed to assume several senior executive roles. Prior to his current appointment, Eric Piatti was General Manager at Fairmont Towers, Heliopolis, Cairo and previously held similar positions for Swissôtel in India and China from 2007. With his extensive background in hospitality as well as food and beverage, Eric Piatti was appointed a key role for several corporate assignments including rebranding for Swissôtel Nankai Osaka, Japan. He was also the Food & Beverage Champion for five Swissôtel properties, across Germany, Switzerland and United Kingdom. A graduate in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Lausanne Hospitality Management School, Switzerland, Eric Piatti is fluent in French, English and German. Action-driven and motivated, he is well-placed to steer Swissôtel Nai Lert Park to greater success. The hotel is the proud recipient of Thailand’s Leading City Resort award at the prestigious World Travel Awards 2011. Eric Piatti follows Torsten Pinter, who became General Manager at Swissôtel Zürich.
