The Inn on Fifth in Naples, Florida Begins $1.7 Million
Renovation of the 87-room Inn

New Look to Mirror the $16 Million Expansion
Project Currently Underway at the Property

NAPLES, Fla. (August 21, 2012) – On August 13, The Inn on Fifth in downtown Naples, Fla. began a $1.7 million renovation project that will completely transform the boutique landmark hotel. Interior and exterior renovations of the 87-room inn will take place in three, three-week stages, giving the property a new look and feel.  Renovations are expected to be complete in mid-October 2012.

“The renovation of The Inn on Fifth and expansion of the Club Level Suites will create a new experience for the next generation of guests, but our loyal fans will still enjoy the outstanding service and amenities they love,” said Phil McCabe, owner of The Inn on Fifth.

Under the direction of Orlando-based interior designer CVC Hospitality, the suites will showcase an elegant contemporary décor, with a palette of warm grays, creamy whites, and crisp black, with splashes of red.  The renovations will add new custom-made furniture in guest rooms, which will also be updated with custom artwork, fresh paint, crown molding, custom carpet, new drapery and more. The ballroom and meeting spaces will also be renovated to complement the new look and feel of the property, while the lobby and common areas will be transformed with new paint, several bold wall coverings, decorative lighting, new furniture, custom artwork and LED color changing lighting.

The exterior of the Inn on Fifth will be getting a complete makeover with new stone cladding and railings that will reflect the look of the new expansion.  The transformation of the exterior will include fresh paint, light fixtures and awnings featuring a contemporary feel, as well as a completely new entrance to the hotel.  Additionally, the stone balustrades with be replaced to offer a modern look.

The Inn on Fifth’s new look will mirror that of the Inn’s new $16 million expansion project, which includes the addition of 32 Club Level Suites and meeting space in a new three-story, 40,000-square-foot building directly across Fifth Avenue from the Inn’s landmark location.  The expansion is scheduled to be complete in December 2012.
