Shane Weaver Joins Island Hospitality Management
as Regional Director of Operations

PALM BEACH, Fla., May 29, 2012
—Officials of Island Hospitality Management, LLC, one of the nation’s largest hotel management companies, today announced that Shane Weaver has joined the company as regional director of operations.

Weaver will be responsible for operations, sales and revenue for Island’s East Coast portfolio including the Westin in Morristown NJ, Sheraton in Rockville MD and several Marriott and Hilton-branded hotels.  He also will work closely with Island’s revenue management team to exceed top line revenue, profit and guest satisfaction goals.

Weaver joins Island from White Lodge Services, (WLS) where he was general manager for a unique 450-room combo hotel in Austin, TX and held multiple cluster sales roles in the Midwest and Texas.  During his tenure at WLS, he twice earned Marriott’s sales team of the year award and as resident manager of the Louisville Marriott Downtown, his hotel ranked in the top 5 percent for overall guest satisfaction among full service Marriott hotels.  Prior to WLS, Weaver was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for PCH hotels, a manager of full service resorts that grew from one to nine resorts during his tenure.
