Mintek Mobile Data Solutions Announces New Hotel
Enhancements and Improvements


EAM CMMS Hotel Enhancements 2nd Quarter 2012


Dunedin, FL, May 24, 2012 – Mintek Mobile Data Solutions Inc. announced today several major changes to Transcendent® their hotel EAM CMMS  solution. The new enhancements reflect Mintek’s continued commitment to provide hotels and lodges with user friendly tools to improve their asset and maintenance management.

This latest release includes new language translations, comprehensive online help documentation, improvements for faster EAM CMMS mobile  applications response, and additional supported mobile devices.

With the additional language translations the hotel EAM CMMS solution now supports 15 different languages.  This is ideal for hotels that have operations in multiple countries across the globe.

Transcendent’s online help viewer is complete with a chapter directory, how-to examples and annotated screen shots to make referencing quick and easy helping to ensure that hotel engineering staff can find help quickly.



The improvements in windows mobile application response time are the results of a complete redesign and optimization. Screens sync and load faster as well as react quicker to user input. 

Director of Marketing, Chris Kluis adds, “The new enhancements not only increase application loading speeds 5 to 30, times but also enable our clients to fully utilize mobile devices to manage their assets.”

As technology is always changing, Mintek is happy to expand the number of supported mobile devices to include the ES400. This rugged device enables users to maximize their wrench time by reducing the need to return to an office. Work requests, work orders, inspections and rounds can all be performed using a mobile device.

In addition to the enhancements, there were several other big changes including allowing users to be notified when action has been taken on their work request, improved work management reporting, a barcode generator and the auto-resizing of site photos for increased speed of loading.
