Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Names Robert Lowe as General Manager
and Kasia Bronisz as Director of Sales & Marketing for Newly
Re-branded Mandarin Oriental Atlanta, Georgia



HONG KONG, May 4, 2012Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Robert Lowe as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta and Kasia Bronisz as Director of Sales & Marketing for the new luxury hotel located in Atlanta’s prestigious Buckhead neighborhood.

Robert Lowe
Mr. Lowe is a veteran hotelier with over 25 years of hospitality industry experience including 13 years with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. He joined Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco in 1999 as Director of Sales and Marketing and later moved into Operations as Resident Manager in 2005.  In 2007, he moved to Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC in the capacity of Resident Manager. Since 2010, Robert has held the position of Hotel Manager at Mandarin Oriental, New York. Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, Mr. Lowe held various management positions with Hyatt Hotels.

Commenting on the appointment, Richard Baker, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s Executive Vice President, Operations Director, The Americas said: “Robert has a deep understanding of Mandarin Oriental’s culture, as well as extensive knowledge in both operations and sales.  I’m delighted that he is leading the team that will establish Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta amongst the very finest hotels in the region.”

A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mr. Lowe is bilingual in English and Spanish. He studied Hotel and Restaurant Management in the U.K. and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Slough Polytechnic in Berks, England.

Kasia Bronisz
Kasia joined Mandarin Oriental in 2009 as Director of Sales & Marketing for Mandarin Oriental, Prague.  Prior to joining the Group, she worked in the United States as Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Kimpton Hotels and Associate Director of Sales at Park Hyatt Washington, DC.

“Kasia’s extensive experience in strategic planning, team leadership and client relationships will be extremely valuable in her new role,” said Emily Snyder, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, The Americas. “We are confident that she will establish a leading market position for this excellent property.”

Kasia is a graduate of the University of Economics in Poland and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality Management.
