Dolce Hotels and Resorts Names Michael Moros as General Manager and
Gary Tarpinian as Director of Sales & Marketing of The Alexander Hotel

To Oversee the Late 2012 Opening of the New 209-room
Indianapolis, Indiana Property

ROCKLEIGH, N.J. - May 25, 2012 - Dolce Hotels and Resorts announces the appointments of Michael Moros to General Manager and Gary Tarpinian to Director of Sales & Marketing of The Alexander Hotel, in Indianapolis, IN. The Alexander Hotel is Dolce's newest property and will open its doors in late 2012 as the company's 18th North American hotel.

Michael Moros
General Manager Michael Moros is responsible for all operations of The Alexander Hotel. With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Moros arrived at The Alexander Hotel from Michael's Southshore Restaurant, an Indianapolis dining spot where he remains owner.

Previously, he held top management positions at hotels and restaurants in Indianapolis and beyond, including General Manager of White Lodging Services, Merrillville, Indiana; General Manager of Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel, Erie, Pennsylvania; and several positions over a nine-year run at The Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, including Director of Operations and Interim General Manager. A native of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Moros earned a degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Gary Tarpinian
As Director of Sales & Marketing, Tarpinian directs innovative strategies for increasing business from corporate and incentive clientele. With over 35 years of experience, he joins The Alexander Hotel from Hilton Chicago/Northbrook, where he was Director of Sales.

Previously, Tarpinian was Director of Sales and Marketing at hotels across the Midwest, including the St. Louis Marriott West Hotel, The Joule Hotel, Dallas, and The Westin St. Louis. He began his career as Convention Sales Manager at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan, in 1980, fresh from a two-year management-training program at The Westin Detroit Plaza Hotel. A native of Allen Park, Michigan, Tarpinian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Michigan State University.
